seeing red...again!

i popped by miss selfridge two days ago, and boy, was i glad i did! i stumbled upon a really awesome find! i snagged this absolutely gorgeous coat for only SGD79! (it retails for GBP70 and is already oos online.)

i adore the black trimmings and black bow detailing to bits, and the back of the coat is just too cute with the additional bows!

there was only one piece, and it was in my size - it felt totally destined for it to be mine! but oh, this just makes it seem i need the Clyde more and more!

in accordance with kate spade's "live colourfuly" campaign and seeing red in january, today i decided to step out in my red oxford heels for the first time, and pair it with my red tights i'd just got from dorothy perkins for only SGD9!


i just wish i could have gotten a full picture of myself! grrr!!

journal bon shopper

while the journal newspaper clutch is cute, i need to talk about the journal bon shopper! this newsworthy bag deserves a post all of its own!


if you haven't seen it in person, i encourage you to visit your nearest kate spade store and please do! did you know that the kate spade team created their very own classifieds print for this bag? the ads on this bag is amazing! i spent a long time reading the classifieds on this bag and thoroughly enjoyed myself! there's an ad about volunteers needed at the zoo, a vintage red typewriter for sale, a want ad for a yellow vintage tandem bike (that comes with a handsome cyclist with strong legs, haha!), as well as one about a block party saturday!

frosted felt magazine tote in modern red

the frosted felt magazine tote is past-season, but a mommy in the morning class at the school i teach toted it one day and i couldn't take my eyes off of it! the combination of red and pink is oh.my.god! it didn't catch my fancy before, but after i've seen it in person, i must i must i must have it! tho' i'd better act fast since it's still on sale!

but i don't know if i should wait for the pink and gray combo, tho, as seen in the Spring 2011 Press Breakfast:

the kennywood syndey, i originally liked in black and white stripes for that nautical look, but after seeing the polka dots one, i'm so in love with it!

i NEED to have them both!

another cornelia to the collection!

remember a few months ago i'd die to have the cornelia street noel tamara in black/white? well, i've officially given up looking for it. oh my god i cannot describe how impossible it is to get my hands on this one. as if i'm trying to find some 13th century treasure!

but it lessens the blow somewhat to find the alternative to the tamara! presenting...my latest addition to my cornelia street noel collection: the cornelia street noel elizabeth in black and white!






well, it's nothing new or of the latest design or season. the elizabeth in marigold and full black has been on sale on katespade.com for the longest time. but i'll tell you why this one here is such a special and exciting find! it's way smaller, which is fine by me because i think i have enough big bags already. but the bonus of this buy is that it is in black and white - just what i had initially wanted in my tamara! yeah well, i do have the cornelia street owen in black and white, but this is even better! the shape is somewhat similar to the tamara, and i can carry it elbow-hold...just like the tamara, too! it's like...a tiny tamara! *beams*


this brings my cornelia collection to four: the tamara, the blair, the owen and the elizabeth. perhaps i should get a photo of the cornelia family! i'm still trying to get my hands on the neda wallet, which will hopefully bring the count to five, and then i'm done!

with this collection, i mean. not kate spade. heh!

"emma" and "romeo and juliet" book clutches!

when kate spade first introduced the "Great Expectations", "Importance of Being Earnest" and "The Great Gatsby" book clutches, it was mentioned that the new book clutch will be released every month, from then on, thus the name "Book of the Month" clutches.

you know, i really love the "spade" that's incorporated into kate spade's logo. i think there's a lot of potential with how kate spade can cleverly use the logo. like a spade-shaped coin pouch (similar to the owl and pineapple coin pouch), a "spade" ring...and many more! of course, we're talking "spade" as in the ace of spades here, not the spade like in a shovel kinda thing! just look at the gold signature "spade" studs from the new jewelry collection! it's so cute and clever!
